3 Easy Steps to Register PLEASE NOTE THAT ACCOMMODATION IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR THE TIBETAN 101, 102 AND 103 LANGUAGE COURSES - choose your courses
- send us the registration form online along with your deposit
- Your $100 deposit goes towards the administrative costs and your course fees. (Read the Fee page for more information)
- You will receive an email confirming our receipt of your registration form and your Paypal deposit.

- Your $100. US deposit is applied to the administrative fee and then to the fees for the last course in which you register, if registered in more than one course. Deposits are made through PayPal using your credit card. We can not make direct credit card charges except for fee balances, in person, on arrival.
- After sending your deposit, you can pay for the balance of your fees before you leave (PayPal or bank transfer) or upon your arrival (cash in local currency, or Visa/Mastercard). If registered in more than one course, payment for each course must be made no later than one week before the end of the previous course, in order for us to ensure that a room will be available for you.
- If you are staying outside, you will need to visit our office no later than between 8 am and 5pm the day before Orientation begins (two days before the course begins) to register and to pay for your course. All participants, including those staying off campus, are advised to attend the Orientation at 4pm on the day before the course is to begin. If you stay off campus, and plan to request arrangements for taking the noon meal on campus during the time of your participation, you must enquire at the office about the costs and pay in advance for the time period of your course.
Application To apply please complete the online Registration Form. Registration is subject to approval by the IBA. Please send your online registration form and deposit at least one month prior to the start of the course. Your registration is accepted only after your deposit has been paid. You will receive an email confirmation from IBA. If you do not receive confirmation within a week, please contact us. Deposits must be paid by PayPal, since bank transfers can take up to a month before we receive notice of them.
Additional Information - Students are allowed to arrive 1 day before and stay 1 day after courses, because we need time to clean and prepare the rooms for the next course's participants. For the June course, participants can arrive at IBA two days before the beginning of their course.
- Students who are only able to attend a portion of a one month course must receive permission from the teacher. Permission may only be given for those who can participate for a minimum of 2 weeks, preferably at the beginning of a course.

Refund policy: Within one week of the commencement of a one month or a two month course, students who wish to withdraw must contact the office. Refunds will be made in Nepalese rupees, according to the exchange rate in effect at that time, after deducting a US$100 administration fee. No refunds will be issued for the $100 deposit or for the fees of the 10 Day Retreat. |
